On the 19th January 2023, we launched project “Anti-FGM Club for Teachers” in primary schools. The project goal is to increase understanding of FGM among the teachers and to foster their involvement in the #EndFGM campaign in Ikere and Ifelodun/Irepodun Local government areas, Ekiti state.

The project is being supported by The New Generation Girls & Women Development Initiative (NIGAWD) and UNFPA Nigeria

The project kick-started with teachers at Omodewa Nursery and Primary School, Iworoko-Ekiti. It was an interactive session; experience sharing and knowledge-gaining moment.
