Earlier today, we sensitized the okesa market traders on gender-based violence as part of our activities to commemorate 16 days of Activism against Gender-based violence, as a member of the Network against Child Trafficking, Abuse and Labour NATAL, Ekiti Chapter).

The market awareness sensitization was conducted in clusters: we sensitized different clusters in the market such as meat sellers, pepper sellers, foodstuff sellers, etc.

It was an engaging and informative period. We informed them about the Ekiti Gender Based Violence law and punishment for discussed offenses. We also gave them a toll-free line and office address they can report to if need be.
