On World NGO Day 2024, our team celebrated by economically empowering the caregiver of Blessing, one of our education scholarship recipients in Ondo state. We provided three bags of charcoal to help kick start a petty business for the caregiver, enabling her to support Blessing’s welfare.

The caregiver is a neighbor who took Blessing in after her parents passed away. Due to health challenges, she couldn’t leave her house, so her focus shifted towards providing basic sustenance and homeschooling. As a result, Blessing has been unable to attend a traditional classroom for the past nine years. However, in June 2023, our organization enrolled Blessing in school, starting at KG one at the age of nine.

While education is important to us, the well-being of our children and caregivers remains our top priority. We are grateful for everyone who has supported this worthy cause.
