To create a #periodfriendly world, the GoldHeart Foundation team randomly walked through the streets of Ire-Ekiti to distribute a 5-month supply of sanitary pads to seven teenage girls. Along with the pad distribution, the team also took the opportunity to sensitize the girls on the importance of proper menstrual hygiene, engaging them while they went about their daily activities.

Additionally, the foundation provided sanitary pads to 12 teenage girls at St. John’s Anglican Church in Ire-Ekiti during their Children’s Day celebration. They also donated two packs of menstrual products to the church’s pad bank on this occasion.

Indeed, together we can create a period-friendly world,” said a GoldHeart Foundation spokesperson. “We appreciate our donor ‘We Give’ for supporting us with the menstrual products that made this distribution and awareness campaign possible.
