As part of our activities to mark AONN’s 20th anniversary, AONN Ekiti State Chapter had the honor of being featured on Midas Radio 90.5 FM, where Prof. Christopher Oluwadare represented to discuss the milestones achieved since AONN’s establishment in Ekiti in 2007, as well as the challenges faced by orphans and vulnerable children in the state.
During the interview, Prof. C.T Oluwadare highlighted a significant milestone when AONN received international funding in 2009. He also mentioned that AONN has identified and provided comprehensive support to orphans and vulnerable children in all 16 LGAs in Ekiti state. The support includes healthcare, household economic strengthening, legal assistance, psychosocial support, education aid, nutrition support, child protection, and shelter & care.
Prof. C.T Oluwadare emphasized that these services are continuously being improved upon, and they are available for individuals and organizations willing to contribute to this noble cause.
