Our team representative participated in a three-day workshop focused on policy lobbying to enhance the community of practice working on open contracting in Ekiti State. The workshop covered a range of topics related to open contracting, including the implementation of the Open Contracting Data Standard (OCDS), effective data management practices, policy advocacy strategies, and best practices in promoting transparency and accountability.

The event brought together various stakeholders from government ministries, media organizations, Civil Society Organizations (CSOs), and Women’s groups. This diverse group engaged in knowledge sharing, exchanged experiences, discussed existing challenges, and provided valuable recommendations to improve public procurement processes in Ekiti State.

The workshop was an enlightening experience, prompting a strong call to action for all organizations . We appreciate @accountlab and @undp for organizing and facilitating this insightful.
