The prevalence of Female Genital Mutilation/Cutting (FGM/C) remains especially high in Ekiti. There is a need to intensify our awareness campaigns at the grassroots level and men’s involvement is paramount in eradicating FGM.

Involving the road transport workers in Okeyimi junction and Nursing mothers in Primary Health Center, Okeyimi, Ado-Ekiti, to be informed and take action in ending FGM in Ekiti state, on the UNJP UNICEF FGM project in partnership with Balm in Gilead Foundation for Sustainable Development – BIGIF
