Ekiti Mega Walk against Gender-Based Violence

Earlier today, GoldHeart Foundation joined the Office of the Wife of Ekiti Governor, CSOs, Ministries, Agencies and other stakeholders to walk against all forms of Gender-based violence in Ekiti state in commemoration of 16 days of Activism against Gender-based violence with the theme “UNiTE! Activism to end violence against women and girls”.

The First Lady Dr. Olayemi Biodun-Oyebanji said during the campaign “This government will not accommodate any form of violence in Ekiti. Let’s report cases of violence against women and girls ‘E soro soke.’ Show love to one another, and extend a hand of love to fellow women/girls even when you are going through your own. Let’s help one another.”

The walk which was led by the First lady commenced from Fajuyi through Oja Oba- Oja Bisi /Okeyimi and ended at the office of the wife of the Governor.

Let’s unite to end violence against women and girls.
