We celebrated International Adolescent Health Week 2024, themed โ€œThriving Not Just Surviving: Building Adolescentsโ€™ Resilience,โ€ in conjunction with the International Day of the Girl Child, bringing together over 500 adolescent girls at Ikere High School in Ikere-Ekiti. In partnership with the Victoriabenjaminfoundation, our team focused on empowering the girls to thrive by emphasizing the importance of education, fostering positive relationships, and leveraging technology for constructive purposes.

The girls were also educated on how to amplify their voices regarding issues that affect them, including various forms of gender-based violence. They were encouraged to speak out so they can pursue the futures they envision.

The adolescents received the information enthusiastically, engaging actively by asking questions, which we were happy to answer.

Mrs. Olomola, the vice principal, expressed her appreciation for our team and expressed eagerness for more engaging preventive programs like this in the future.

As an organization, we are committed to building the capacity of children and adolescents, preparing them for both today and tomorrow.
