As part of our commemoration of the International Day of the Girl Child, as a member of AONN Ekiti State, we sensitized 100 students on school-related gender-based violence and menstrual hygiene.

We distributed 53 sanitary pads to support girls’ menstrual hygiene needs, aiming to ease their financial burden in accessing these products. Additionally, 47 bathing soaps were provided for boys to promote overall hygiene practices.

Our representative Dowole Gold Moyinoluwa summarized the topics discussed, addressed questions, and emphasized the importance of applying this knowledge in their daily lives.

The school principal on behalf of the school appreciated the organizations efforts in empowering and advocating for the rights of girls. He solituded for continuous engagement of such programs in the school.
