Our team representative, Comfort Taiwo, attended the two-day stakeholders’ summit on sickle cell disease and blood donation, held on June 19th and 20th, 2025, at the College of Nursing Auditorium in Ado-Ekiti, organized by the oainitiative_

The event featured the launch of a policy document aimed at the prevention and management of sickle cell disease in Ekiti State. Warriors shared their testimonials about the positive impact of the free medical care scheme they have benefited from. Additionally, sickle cell patients were enrolled on-site into the EKHIS Free Health Care Program, and a 500-pint blood donation drive was conducted.

We extend our gratitude to the OA Initiative for their efforts in connecting sickle cell patients with friendly healthcare systems. As an organization, we are committed to the well-being of our children and will strive to ensure they receive the best support possible.
