Summer Holiday Skills Acquisition Graduation
Our team Abayomi Oyinlola and Peter recently participated in the Balm in Gilead Foundation for Sustainable Development – BIGIF Exhibition/Auction, celebrating the incredible achievements of their adolescents in the holiday skills training program. 🎉 The event highlighted their newly acquired talents in soap making, bag making, confectionery, and fashion design.
Mr. Peter shared his journey, reflecting on how he didn’t start learning skills early due to his parents’ focus on academics. He praised the parents who support their children in skill development and urged the trainees to seize this valuable opportunity.
Grace Abayomi inspired everyone by sharing her own path into photography, proving that skills can lead to great income, even for a Chemistry graduate!
Skill acquisition is crucial, especially from a young age. Huge thanks to BIGIF for empowering these young individuals to make the most of their holiday!
