Inauguration of Technical Working Group on Alternative Care for children Guideline

On May 20, 2025, our executive director was inaugurated as part of the Technical Working Group (TWG) for the domestication of the National Guidelines on Alternative Care for Children in Ekiti. This important project, led by Cpn Ekiti with funding support from SOS Children’s Villages Nigeria, was inaugurated by the Ekiti State Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development Permanent Secretary, Mrs. Olatilu Omotayo, in the presence of the Director of Child and the CPN Southwest Coordinator, Pst. (Dr.) Akosile Peter.

Following this significant event, we participated in a capacity-building training session facilitated by our CPN National Coordinator, Mr. Sanni Olakunle.

The guidelines for alternative care for children provide a crucial framework for making informed decisions that prioritize the best interests of the child.

As an organization dedicated to safeguarding children’s rights, we are deeply committed to this project. We believe that every child deserves a safe, nurturing environment where they can grow and develop to their fullest potential.
