Earlier today, our representatives Dowole Gold Moyinoluwa and Ademoroti Esther Hadassah were on @voicefm899 Ado-Ekiti to review the “Community groups sensitized; perception and perspective on FGM and Way Forward” on the UNJP FGM project with UNICEF Nigeria in partnership with Balm in Gilead Foundation for Sustainable Development – BIGIF

In the month of October we began the community group sensitization on female genital mutilation, GoldHeart Foundation has been working in some communities in Ado-Ekiti to sensitize groups, associations, and networks on female genital mutilation.

We have recorded certain successes while the challenges were still active. We keep campaigning against this menace.
