David, an 11-year-old in Primary 5, lived in Iyin-Ekiti with his unemployed caregiver. Despite his brilliance, he struggled without basic educational supplies. During the Children’s Day celebration, he felt heartbroken when he couldn’t participate in the inter-school match past due to a lack of uniform, socks, and sandals.

Hearing about David’s situation, our organization stepped in. We enrolled him in our education scholarship scheme, provided him with a school uniform, books, pens, socks, sandals, and covered his tuition fees.

When David received his new uniform, his joy was palpable. He got his self confidence back. We will keep supporting him as well as his caregiver we have been supporting.
