In a small village in Oye-Ekiti, Khadijat, a bright-eyed four-year-old, watched her mother work tirelessly at the market, selling groundnuts to care for her and her three siblings. Since their father’s passing, life had been a constant struggle. With limited income, enrolling Khadijat in school seemed like a distant dream.
Khadijat longed to learn, to make friends, and to explore the world beyond her home. Yet, her mother, burdened by financial constraints, could only hope for a miracle.
That miracle came in the form of the GoldHeart Foundation. Committed to the belief that every child deserves #qualityeducation, through our Education Scholarship Scheme #ESS project #street2School. We reached out to Khadijat and her family, offering not just enrollment but also all the necessary school supplies and tuition fees.
On the day of enrollment, Khadijatโs heart raced with excitement. Hand-in-hand with her mother, she made the trek to the primary school. The headmistress, warm and welcoming, embraced Khadijat and assured our organization and her mother of the schoolโs support.
As Khadijat stepped into the classroom for the first time, her eyes sparkled with joy. She was finally where she belonged. Her mother, filled with relief, offered a silent prayer of gratitude for the foundation and its generous donors.
The GoldHeart Foundation team felt a deep sense of fulfillment in making this journey possible. They knew that this was just the beginning for Khadijat. With every step she took in her new school, she was not only gaining an education but also hope for a brighter future.
Quality education is a childโs right, and the #GoldHeartFoundation remains steadfast in its mission to ensure that no child is left behind.
