Walk against Trafficking in persons.

Today, we actively participated in the commemoration of the 2023 World Day against Trafficking in Persons, recognizing its importance in combating this heinous crime. Together with the Office of Ekiti First Lady, the Office of the Attorney General, and the Ekiti Task Force, we took a significant step towards addressing this issue in Irona to Fayose market, Ado-Ekiti.

Through a sensitization walk, we demonstrated a strong commitment to raising awareness about trafficking and its detrimental impact. By educating the public about the dangers and consequences of this illegal activity, we aim to empower individuals with knowledge to recognize the signs of trafficking and take necessary actions.

Moreover, it was crucial to inform people about the relevant laws that prohibit trafficking. By doing so, we strive to ensure that perpetrators are brought to justice, and victims receive the essential support and protection they deserve.

Let us continue to work together to end trafficking in persons and uphold the values of human rights and dignity for all.
