Courtesy Visit to Disability Not A Barrier Initiative(DINABI)

GoldHeart Foundation (GHF) on the 20th January 2023, paid a courtesy visit to Disability Not A Barrier Initiative(DINABI) in their office in Ado-Ekiti, an NGO that promotes inclusion, equity, and justice for disabilities through training, sensitization, research, and advocacy.

The team was received by the Executive Director, Mr. Olajide Funso, and his team.

The visit to DINABI is part of our efforts to strengthen an existing relationship, labor closely with the organization to support persons with disability (PWDs) education, and increase the level of awareness for public facilities’ accessibility for PWDs.

Speaking during the visit, Mr. Olajide Funso commended the organization (GHF) for its good track record with a great impact on vulnerable children’s Education and beyond while he encouraged the team to keep serving humanity selflessly.

After the deliberation, Mr. Yemi (DINABI) presented the Executive Director (GHF), copies of the report on “Accessibility Audit Public Facilities and Services for Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) in Ekiti State.”

The Executive Director (GHF), Moyinoluwa Ogundowole in her response appreciated the team as she looked forward to continuous partnering. She also commended their efforts in amplifying the needs of persons with disabilities (PWDs).
