Our Executive Director, dowolegoldmoyinoluwa participated in the Interstate Dialogue on “Strengthening Women’s Rights Organizations in Nigeria” to bolster the prevention and response to Gender-Based Violence (GBV). Hosted by Balm in Gilead Foundation for Sustainable Development – BIGIF with support from Ford Foundation and Amandla Institute, this dialogue brought together key stakeholders from Ekiti and Ondo state—including CSOs, government agencies, SARCs, and security forces—to promote peer learning.

While Ekiti State has made significant strides in GBV prevention and response, we know that prevention is always cheaper than treatment. During the dialogue, we identified existing gaps and collaborated with stakeholders—to provide actionable solutions.

As an organization, we are intensifying our efforts in prevention while simultaneously strengthening our response systems to ensure total protection for women and girls.
