“Period poverty describes the struggle many low-income women and girls face while trying to afford menstrual products.”

Menstrual products are becoming less affordable due to the price increase. However, there are alternatives to ultra-modern pads such as reusable pads.

In preparation for world menstrual hygiene day 2023; Gold Heart Foundation trained its staff and volunteers on the production of reusable pads. This train-the-trainer session will enable each team member to effectively train other women/girls, individuals, and organizations as we commemorate menstrual hygiene day.

Together we can end period poverty.
